We are doing experimental work with the surface of nanomaterials, focusing on photoelectronic, magnetic and mechanical interactions between the surface and external molecules toward applications in photoelectrocatalysis, magnetocatalysis and mechanical catalysis. Students are expected to learn basic principles and laboratory techniques in chemistry and surface science, and to write research papers for publishing them in a peer-reviewed journal.

Upon TÜBİTAK approval, one position will be available for a post-doctoral associate from a current TÜBİTAK project that ends on April 1, 2027. We are aiming to demonstrate chiral discriminations made on the surface of magnetic nanoparticles to which no magnetic field is applied.

Undergraduate students are encouraged to contact the Principal Investigator for research opportunities. One or two positions are available throughout the year, and students will be supported by a current TÜBİTAK project.

We do not have open positions for master’s students and PhD students unless another source of funding is available. Please contact the Principal Investigator to bring an external scholarship to the group.
